Anne is of Canadian descent, and she is the director, founder and English Department head at English Girona. Anne majored in English Literature from Langara College in Vancouver, BC, and later on, obtained a TEFL certificate. She is also a Cambridge Speaking Examiner and nowadays is taking both an English Teaching course at Arizona State University and studying a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations at Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. She has been teaching English for over 12 years and during this time, she has worked with different professionals, peoples of all ages, and levels as an English teacher. As of today, at our academy, she is in charge of training students whom are aiming at different official examinations.
Albert is the Catalan and Spanish teacher at English Girona. He is also the co-founder of the school and management's right hand. Albert has a Spanish Teaching Certificate as well as a TEFL certificate for teaching English as a second language. Nowadays, he is finishing the specialized TESOL course at Arizona State University. He also teaches Japanese to beginners.
Daniella is of British origin but was born in Spain. She holds a degree in English philology and a master's in Teaching English as a Foreign Language from the University of Jaume I, along with a certificate in LSP. Also interested in translation, she has worked with various publishers as a freelancer, editing and proofreading different authors. Her goal is to continue her education in language teaching with a TEFL certification and a doctorate in applied linguistics.
La Mar is a teacher of English and Catalan and holds the Proficiency certificate (CPE). She has completed a Master's in Secondary Education with a specialization in English and has been teaching English to children, teenagers, and adults for the past seven years.
Tolkien is English Girona's official pet. His name has granted him the position of elvish language teacher, only available in private lessons. He is also an expert in canine language, as he would say: "woof" "woof" "woof!"

Please be reminded that our group lessons allow for a maximum of six students per class. We offer custom learning with qualified and experienced teachers.
English Girona offers 10% discount in group lessons to UdG students with valid ID and to members of the same family who are enrolled in lessons with us.

The enrollment fee is destined to buying the corresponding books and material which will be used during the course. From May 1st to June 30th, a discount will be offered in the enrollment fee. Those students who wish to enroll in more than one course will have to pay an enrollment fee of 90€.

Private lessons will take place with just you and the teacher. Ideal for those students willing to learn faster or for those needing a flexible timetable. The price of private lessons is 30€/h. The monthly fee will depend on the number of private lessons scheduled within a month.

We also give the possibility of taking lessons in groups of only two students. This modality contemplates only two students per class and the teacher. The price of these lessons is 19€/h per person. The monthly fee will depend on the number of lessons scheduled within a month.

Group lessons take place in small groups, 3 to 6 people max. This way, students can follow the lesson with ease, and teachers can make sure that everyone understands the task at hand. We offer groups to all levels and ages. We also open new groups when a minimum of 3 people show interest in the same level and schedule.
